Reaper64 and Reaper32 running at the same time together with ReWire...?

Is it possible to have Reaper 64-bit and Reaper 32-bit running on the same machine at the same time, talking to each other with ReWire?

I achieved them both running by using the -newinst command line and using Reaper 32-bit Portable install, but I don't know much about Rewire if it can link up Reaper-to-Reaper.




(I know someone will ask "why?" so, its because I have a valuable 32-bit plugin that I paid a lot of money for, and it only loads in Reaper32bit, not 64bit despite bridging being on etc etc. I want to be able to trigger this plugin from my projects in Reaper64 and then have Reaper32 sent audio back to my Reaper64 project. I know, its convoluted...:s)

I don't really know but I was informed on the forum that my 64bit REAPER would not REWIRE successfully with 32bit REASON.
So maybe not?

I would report the bridging problem in the Bug Reports sub-forum so that the devs can have a look at fixing it.
