Hi!

Anybody using an Android-device to control Rme TotalMix?
How?

Sorry - I set and forget TotalMix, then do everything in Reaper.

I haven't. I use TM exclusively for monitoring and monitor mixes etc. (mostly because it works so well at giving separate stereo monitor mixes for each player) Did so all weekend getting drum/bass tracks. Didn't need remote though.

Ok, thanks.

I've tried https://play.google.com/store/apps/d...ommander&hl=de
But couldn't get it to work.
Would really like to be able to change scene,
see meter and control channel-volume from booth.

Now, I often need to go back to the pc.

I'm guessing you enabled OSC in TotalMix options, then said "Allow" when the windows Firewall prompt came up? If it has prompted you in the past, and you dismissed the firewall dialog, it may not ask the next time. If that's the case you need to go into the OSC settings in TM, note the port #s listed, and add those as incoming/outgoing as a TCP firewall rule. Then add the IP listed as the target address for the Android, and confirm the Android knows to use the ports you just created the firewall rule for.

There is an app called TeamViewer that allows complete control over a Windows GUI. Free download. I don't speak Applese, so I don't know if it'll work on a Mac

Ok, I'll check again. Thanks!

I can see Totalmix TCP have 2 entries in incoming rules,
but none out.

Added a rule for out, but I'm not sure what options to go for.

Issues:
- Can't stop server on device. Need to hard stop
- Can't choose layout.
- Limited but some reaction on device (intern), but none to TotalMixFx
