Default SGA1566 vst now crashes Reaper [PROB GONE]

I use SGA1566 in my guitar chain and have for a couple years. Not sure what could have changed but one day the guitar template track wouldn't load. I attempted to recreate it from memory and traced the problem to SGA1566, which now crashes Reaper whenever I try to load it.

I tried rolling back Reaper to an earlier version and of course uninstalling and reinstalling the plugin. Any other ideas?

How about running plugin as separate or dedicated process? Or try 32bit version? Maybe run Reaper as administrator?

What other plugins are you running in your template?
Have you tried loading the template with all FX offline and switching them on one by one?

Yea that's how I found out which one was causing the problem. It loads fine without this one.

Hadn't thought to try 32-bit, gonna see if that works.

Weird thing is this problem started out of nowhere and I had changed nothing about my Reaper setup.

Edit: Ok well oddly enough, the problem has now vanished again without changing anything. Very strange...thanks for the help tho, guys.
