Scrollbar redraw issue in MIDI editor FIXED!

Hand tool in MIDI editor FIXED!

Wonky scrollwheel behavior in MIDI editor when not all notes shown and fully zoomed out not yet fixed

Weird zoom behavior in MIDI editor still not quite fixed. (Load my AD drummap. Remember the zoom level. Zoom fully in (BIG squares), then zoom fully out. Zoom level is SMALLER than the beginning one. Exit MIDI editor. Doubleclick on the same MIDI item. Zoom level is miraculously back to the previous zoom level (the one that needed to be remembered)).

reaper is really maturing methinks, just scanned the entire change history - its madness the rate of change. wowze.

extremely minor (ungrateful user) nitpick - Ftoolbars should be always on top (or have option) i found a nice spot for it on top of my mixer and then poof is dissapears underneath it!
detaching each Ftoolbar tab would also be ace, to have a few in different convenient locations. but is a new thing and will be tweaked for sure.

i made an fxchain 'solo button' and 'show next/previous tracks fx chain' buttons and put them right next to my perma fxchain. very cool. shows why many ask for a solo button on the fxchain window!

Like I said a few days ago when my "issue" with REAPER x64 Render/Project settings WAV bit depth needed some love and it was taken care of within hours: REAPER rocks!!!

Thank you for another great update.

Finally midi hand tool! These custom toolbars change the game. Brilliant idea. Now i have a snap toolbar, a drum edit toolbar and recording toolbar! Plus i would like to pat myself on the back for assigning the new 'gun' toolbar icon to Transport: stop(delete all recorded media)

Yikes! REAPER becoming another decimal closer to being my main DAW. Keep throwing in more MIDI enhancements!

Custom toolbar is a first step
Hopefully we can move forward from there
Opening toolbars with actions should not show tabs because floating bars already waste space and the main toolbar is still attached to the tcp
But like i say it's a first step

The progress that this sequencer is making is just making all other companies look ridiculous. I'm not saying that under a negative spirit, but look how fast this is growing on us!

Reaper is a state of mind.

Great update, and thanks for the video fixes,

I'm speechless once again...

Cheers!

I like the floating toolbar's borderless design (well, very thin border). Would like to have that in the transport and docker as well (optionally).

Truth is a very personal thing, hehehehe...

So let's say it's true for me.

After all, I never got real answers from any other team of developers in the audio software field, no need to mention names and brands, but most of the times they just replied to me as every bug was my mistake and treated me as a software tester.

So I guess it's up to personal experiences, and mine are not good, and allow me to say that it wasn't my fault.

Cheers!

These are really awesome!! Thanks very much, guys!!

The next logical step IMHO would be to have the icons in context menus so it's not "tool-less editing" anymore, but "tool-less editing if preferred" (Or am I missing something again?), but I can't find this term anymore anyway.

This could be achieved if:

* the floating toolbars are undockable completely from their container (allowing four separate toolbars instead of one toolbar container with 4 tabs of toolbars)
* there was a set of actions that would "Open toolbar x at mouse cursor position and close after losing focus", which you would be able to insert in your custom menus

I like the idea of a "separate" toolbar for the mouse.

Would like to see the ability to choose how many toolbars you want and how many tabs on each.

This way you don't have to have them clogging the menu editor but you could have say 4 toolbars with 4 tabs each if you wanted (which i at least do!)

I guess all these enhancements are cool... but I am still waiting for ... linked midi items...

Really... everyday, during my night beatmaking session, I spend time trying to keep all my "linked" items in synch... by manually deleting the copies, and manually copying/pasting the original MIDI item, that I just modified... What a waste of time... + the risk of forgetting one, or pasting it to the wrong place...

I do this hundreds of time a week... just because of the lack of "linked" items... is this feature that difficult to implement ?
Or is it considered as non mandatory (a bit like the "freeze" thing that everyone seem to be asking since the beginning...)

I love Reaper... but every night I am wondering when this feature will be coded. It will be such a huge time saver !!!
