Issue with pitch and stretch markers

I'm using stretch markers to create rate based pitch envelopes (no algo pitch shifting)

Preserve pitch is off but my audio audio output sounds mangled and quantized.



I'm expecting a smooth, chipmunky sound, but it's coming out very stair-stepped.

Is there a setting I am missing to set the stretch markers mode to non-algorithmic-pitch-shifting (rate only)?
