Well i use glue a LOT: i start with per example: 1 bar phrase, then very probably i'll repeat it pooled making it 2 bar phrases. Very probably then i want to slightly change second bar, and so on ... Music is ordered repetition, right!
So..
If we would like to rely on pooled items to get ideas for per example harmonic structure, or any other thing - rythm sections, melodic structures , whatever ... , the fact that reaper does not let us maintain the pooled information when gluing the source, results that user will have to pay attention and constantly redo that change, which can easily be unmaintainable.
So i would like to ask reaper to try not forget the pool relation when gluing as in the example below.
The expected behaviour of the feature would be reaper:
- keep the relation and
- update the second with glued content.
