Thanks man. It's my cat since I found it in the sidewalk, just a couple days old, so I fed it and all that. It's like a daughter.

Sorry if I gave the impression I felt pressured or something like that. Not at all. I have fun coding it and you guys liking it and using it it's great! I just felt I needed to let you guys know why I've not updated it. I actually have it already in my head, just haven't had time or honestly the will... I hope if the exams come with the results we're expecting I can get back to my calm and collected self.

Anyways, it's not forgotten.
btw, hope your trip is going great!

Hugs, guys! See you soon.

Hi. How you guys doing?
Got some not so bad news for recent predicaments and found some time and will to work on this.
I'll be putting out all this new stuff in a few days.
Thoughts?

P.S. sorry for the rapid text, I thought 1.8secs would be enough to read it. Silly me ehehehe

Glad to hear things may be improving.

The Color Picker changes look really promising, worth waiting for the next version. Thanks for your continued efforts.

Thanks, looking great!

Especially the docked mode.
Will there be a shortcut (Esc) to close the window instead of pointing the mouse to the upper right corner?
So we could easily open and close the script's window via keyboard input.

Thanks for the support guys. Been doing it bit by bit inbetween medication time and other logistics.

I'll see about that Tim.

Be well guys!

http://***************/a/img911/3575/FwyLTL.gif

see the gif please

Thanks for this fine script

in the color picker shown in the gif you can see two ways to change all the RGB values ...

1-is the slider at the right
2- the other is with the 'corss hairs' on the large color palatte...

the nice thing about this is you mostly keep the basic color while moving it through a range of deeper or more pastel shades...

so I was wondering if we could also have such a slider in this script?

darn I can't make the link work either... something strange going on with imageshack... I'll try to get it re done

PS hmmm still can't get it to work from imageshack site... very strange

but if you are on a pc, just call up the 'color selector' and you'll find the main slider at the far right side of the window...

...and there is also the 'crosshairs' on the palatte, which can do a similar thing

Hi Timothy.

How are you doing? Thanks for the interest. Latest months have been tough. Unfortunately, my cat didn't make it. :´(
I've been a bit off grid trying to get myself back up. It's hard coming home to silence...

Anyway, the script is ready and I'll be releasing another one with it. Yup, I had to get something to occupy my mind and all that... :/

Just ironing out some non script quirks, news coming very soon.

@Spacemen Tree
We are sorry to hear that =/
We don't blame you, there is time for scripting, and time to not.

Welcome back here

Spaceman this looks really cool. Please, I beg you! Make a Video Processor GUI next.

Hi EpicSounds. I'm not at all familiar with the Video Processor in Reaper. Can you give me some pointers on what the GUI should do there? Just so I can visualize the thing and see if my skills are up to it

By the way, thanks for all your videos and blog. Great stuff there.
One of your videos was actually one of the sources of inspiration for a rework on a script I wrote for myself, that I'll be releasing for the community too in a few days.

Hey Spacemen Tree,

I'm really sorry to hear that. Hope you could get your thoughts sorted while being off grid. It always helps me to distract myself from everyday stuff in situations like these...

Happy to hear that you're back on the script(s) though.

This is one of my more complicated video processor presets for inserting colored text on top of the video.

text size, X & Y position, border, RGB color selection, Opacity, then same for the text background.
Ideally the GUI would not have the IDE visible, would have some way of choosing the font and styles like any other program and a better way of selecting the color.

What makes it even more complicated is that the video processor can have a wide variety of parameters and any number of them in use. Text, resizing, cropping, desaturating, picture in picture are all possible with the video processor but you have to write the code to do it.

Open up the video processor plugin and press F1 to see all parameters.
There is also an action to insert a video processor item but it's different and more limited than the plugin version on a MIDI item for whatever reason.

So at the very least, we'd need a user text input box, drop down lists, toggles, knobs, sliders, and a color picker/XY object.

Just took a look at it and all I can say is if I can do it, it might take me a while... But I'll certainly look closer.

Who knows?

I'm more of a hacker (in the sense I hack my way through scripting ) than really a coder but I'll see if I can work something out. Probably just not right away...
