Default Is there a TCP solo env?

Am I missing something, or does the TCP solo button not have an envelope available to automate?

Thanks

Pat

Anyone?

I've looked through the manual and haven't seen anything.

I'm a bit surprised I can't find anything on it because every other control on the channel has its own env???

I'm not aware of any solo envelope, no... Yes, it seems a strange overlook, probably no-one found any use for it before...

Come to think of it, I've never heard of a solo envelope on any DAW ... doesn't mean there isn't of course, just I've never come across one ...

It's useful for arrangments where one wishes to solo an individual track for a section before unsololing and bringing everything else back in!

Yes I can see that!

Possible workaround if it's just the one track this applies to ... route EVERYTHING else thru one big bus and use a mute envelope on that ...

I was thinking that too, but an envelope would be better than work arounds!

Much like web coders hate adding extra mark up to their code for the sake of the presentation of the page..

I read this last night and thought, "Yep! I can TOTALLY see a use for that!" I hadn't run across a need for it yet but can see where I would want it. It would be soooo easy to implement too.

Perhaps a Feature Request?
