Default Selecting Project Templates Problem

Hello all,

I've saved 2 project templates. One is loaded the way I like it and one is empty. How do I select from them when creating a new project?

When I click File/Project templates, I can only save as a template. Below that option I see "no project templates". Is it because I have one template specified as a default template?

Thanks.
Dave

Template files are usually only listed under File > Project Templates when they are located in the default folder:

1) Go to Options > Show Reaper resource path ...
2) ... and open the ProjectTemplates folder

Since Project Templates are basically the same as Project Files, you can open them via File > Open Project

Thanks for responding. I realized my mistake right after I posted. As you indicated, I was not saving my templates in the correct location. So while I could point Reaper at one in the "wrong" location, it would work. But I couldn't select my tempaltes from the Menu item I mentioned. Once I moved my templates to the templates folder, the menu item correctly displayed them.

Thanks for your time!
Dave
