Deleted track still plays

Thanks in advance for any help fellow "reaperites"

Deleted a track, wave form is still ghosted on Buss track. And I still get playback from track that is "gone".

What am I missing. I'm sure it's something I have forgotten, or am too stupid to remember.

Thank you for helping point me in the right direction.

Maybe the track wasn't actually deleted. Use "View>Track Manager" to see if it's hidden instead of deleted.

Forgot my guide track wasn't visible- all good now.
