Default REAPER remembers floating fx positions, but not window size

I have a bunch of 3rd party floating monitoring FX that I have positioned around my screen jussssst right. The problem is I've resized all their windows down to make them fit on my screen (and used the vertical and horizontal scrollbars to show the parts of their guis that actually matter), and REAPER doesn't remember their sizes even when I save and quit. When I open a project - whether new or old, it doesn't matter - all of my monitor FX pop up right where I left them, but at full size, and it takes me a while to resize them all back down before I can get to work. Anyone have any idea how to fix this?

I remember experiencing similar issues. Are you on Mac too?

Upgraded to latest version (5.941) and it's still happening. Any ideas, anyone? This is driving me a little crazy.

I think screensets remember the window size if I'm not mistaken. So just save a screenset with all your monitoring plugs just right and then call it up when you need it.

My home setup has two monitors and I notice this too. I have a floating monitor FX plugin meter that I want on my 2nd monitor.

Every time I open REAPER, it ends up on the main monitor and I have to move it.

At my main studio I only use one screen for REAPER so I hadn't noticed this.

For the second monitor thing:

Try the LBX FX Positioner!

Thanks. We're getting closer to an answer!

Screensets save window size but NOT the positions of the scrollbars within the window. Anyone know how to do that?

I'm having the same issue.
Floated fx will resize to the size it was when docked.
It will not remember the size it was when floated if you dock it after it was floated to a certain size (the docked fx has another size which I want). I don't want to use a screenset for this because then I need to use a lot of screensets for all the different plugins I use per channel.

Hey guys, did Dex or anyone find a solution or workaround for this? Ive been wanting to do the same thing excactly to use the vu meters from slate vbc red setup perfectly in the cornerof my screen, but everytime reload or change screenset it loses scroll bar position as you guys have said! Would love a solution to this one!!
