Default Pre-FX volume

I would like a small volume pot that you can set the pre-fx volume with on each track.
Sure volume adjuster does this but it would be cool to have it readily avalible, before you hit the first FX.

There's no UI element available (has been request before though), but you can activate a pre-FX volumune (and a pre-FC pan) automation lane.

Regarding the many requests for "Pre FX volume" this definitively should be made available via ReaPack (even though there are lots of other plugins that can be used for this purpose) !!!

Hi din_mentor,

I know it's not *exactly* what you're requesting, but you can use the Pre-FX volume envelope for this.

To do this, active the Pre-FX Volume envelope, minimize the track height for the envelope and use the fader to adjust the pre-fx volume. As long as you don't add any extra envelope points on that envelope then the fader will adjust the pre-fx volume for the entire timeline (if that makes sense).

As shown here:

ReaPack/mpl_Add pre-fx control to selected tracks TCP
It use utility/volume_pan (I`m sure I have installed it with Reaper so I suppose everyone have it)

Btw you can save track template with this so new tracks will already have this control.
