I enjoyed it. It sounds inspired by AFX a bit, but different enough to provide something different. Some bits also reminded me a bit of Bola.

I also quite like how saturated the drums sound.

Posted final version and edited original post with new URL and comments.

Edit: On some browsers, there is a weird glitch where it doesn't stream from the beginning. If it starts with a "glitch," push the progress bar back to the beginning and start it again.

Thoughts?

I still like it a lot. There's a lot of progression and I like how wide the stereo field is on headphones in the later sections.

Good work

Thanks for coming back to this. I appreciate it. When I get some time this week, I'd like to check out your tracker plugin. It looks hella cool.

The Bola reference got me giving it a listen
I don't hear a lot of AFX, but Bola or Jega indeed... I'm glad to hear those vibes again !

I like the way the track evolves over time, and the attention paid to detail (some melodies, some textures). It is not the "usual" kind of pattern-based repetitive music, there is a nice progression, which is rewarding for the listener... and very well made.
If i dare, i find the beginning of the song less interesting than the rest : the first pad sound is a bit "vanilla", as well as the drumkit at the beginning. If you skip a minute later, you hear many nice things which you wouldn't expect at first (chord progressions, mood shifts, nice spaces carved by reverb, nice synth sounds... all in all a well designed composition), and it goes on until the end : well done.

If you mind... i can't help to post some Bola and Jega tunes, i used to listen to them a lot
While your music obviously doesn't sound the same, there may be worth listening at, as there is some interesting drum sound processing, gathered with a deep sense of melody and moods/textures... Also, the tracks are always quite evolving.

Sink Music, thank you very much for having a listen. I have worked a bit on the opening drum sound, but I won't post another file. Thank you for your comments and for inviting me to look at the beginning again. It'll probably never be quite right because the piece is designed to keep evolving. Thanks for the links, also. I will check them out when I get out of my studio tonight.

Edit: I forgot to mention that I love Waveshaper oneshot drum samples. I have probably four or five of his kits and have used them in the past.
