In the unlikely circumstance that you want both an incredibly powerful computer yet to stick with Windows 10 instead of Windows 11 then go with Pro.
Very few of us (even the vast majority of pros I would suggest) however are limited by the whopping 128gb upper limit on Windows Home memory ram!
The other consideration is that Windows Home gives you a little less control over when update installs are done.
In practice I find no difference between the two.

I know I should post this
I am not strong at all when it comes to the technical side!
Thanks Softsynth.
I have windows 10 pro that said I will get a licensed one I got the update
done from Windows 7 on my i5.
This time I want a clean install even though I will have to install a lot of plugins again. Maybe I can prune a few.
Many thanks fellow reaperites.

When you install windows and get to the point that windows ask you to log into your account or create one, you can skip it and set a local account.
It's easer to install windows offline, and when windows ask if you have a internet connection, just continue without one and finish your install. Then connect your internet.

A spying clunky bloated software masquerading as an OS doesn't count as 'great' in my book ..

I don't give a hoot about any of that nonsense I'm only interested in if its capable of low latency audio or not.
And it is.

Well, I get around 6 ms roundabout latency on another free, non-spying, letting-you-really-own-your-computer OS.
To each his own.

Exactly To each his own. I get 3.1ms.
And I don't need to spend half my time in the command line figuring out gremlins
Good luck.

I am back
Why?
I got my Windows OEM copy S/N too.
I looked at ways to install it on my new SSD on the web
My mind went to jelly...
Hey I am over 70, no excuse you might say and may be it is right.
Anyway I looked at the Windows version of install and possibly they had a 100 things to do and so many alternatives.
I appreciate that great minds have every right to smile and pass on some great moves and answers but it burns my brain out.
I wondered faced with this legally right OEM copy of Windows 11 on a disc
Is there in fact an easier way to install this than format a USB stick using fat 32 or Another etc (I forget which other one they said).
Years ago a person just stuck a DVD into the hole and you went through the process to install the program. Is this still possible?
Am I over thinking things?
I know how to get into BIOS and change from USB to wherever, I know I am not a
total idiot.
I just can not see myself understanding so much in order to install this program.

Installing Windows 11
The problem is that the DVD is considered obsolete. Most new PCs are not equipped with
a DVD drive anymore. I would download Windows 11 directly from Microsoft:
https://www.microsoft.com/software-download/windows11
Use the Option "Create Windows 11 Installation Media".
Download the Media Creation Tool and write the installation files to a USB stick.
This is much simpler than burning a DVD. Then restart the PC and boot from the USB stick.
Important: Make sure that you select the correct Windows version. Your Windows license
is only valid for one specific Windows version (Home/Pro/Enterprise).

Wow
So.... I see, I did that when I upgraded to windows ten pro on my ever faithful old computer.
How do I get my new license in there Heart Doctor?
I guess it will ask me for that in the process?
and thanks for the tips!

If I remember correctly, Windows will run for a month even without a license.
During this time, you can input a license in the menu that shows details of
your Windows version:
Start menu > Settings > System > Info
