Default Song length read out.

Hi, guys
I need help again.
When I play back a song it stops at the end of the song...buy,
the clock always goes back to start.
Is there a way for the song to stop and have the time displayed at the end of the song, instead of going back to the beginning.
I need to know how long the song is...and edit if necessary.
I'm sure it's in the program somewhere and I don't want to screw up anything
by experimenting in areas I don't understand.
I hope this makes sense.
Thanks, Billy

Some general things to check out:

- In case you don't already know this: you can right-click on the Timeline Ruler at the top to change the display format, for instance, to Minutes:Seconds

- Disable Enable the option Stop/repeat playback at end of project under Preferences > Audio > Playback

- Or after a stop: set the cursor manually to the end of the project (via mouse click or by using the Action Transport: Go to end of project in the Action List)

- This might also be interesting: www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ix3HNaIIdjA

But it seems that what OP wants is impossible in Reaper, because even if you Disable Stop/repeat option... then time will still run after song ended, so in that case the time of the end of song is not staying on dispplay :-(
The only way is to jump to end of project to read its time.
And, play cursor is not going back to start but to the edit cursor

Ah, you are right:

@byllsong: forget about the Stop/repeat playback at end of project option (even if the playback stops automatically, the play cursor will still jump back to the last position of the edit cursor)
