Option to prefer x64/x86 plugins when both are present
I have dual versions of some VST2 plugins but I only want x64 in REAPER. It seems though that once REAPER has found the x86, it doesn't see the x64 version if the filename is the same.
Please could we get an option to ignore one architecture or the other when both are present with the same filename?
Maybe you know anyway, but just in case (as a potential workaround):
From Prefs > VST:
So I let Reaper first scan my 32 bit plugins folder, than my 64 bit plugins folder and if it finds both with the same name it takes the 64 bit version.

No I didn't know that! I foolishly imagined that if there was a conflict it would probably use the first one it found so my 32bit path is last.
Funny how you can use a program for over a decade and still learn new things! Thanks.
