Default First MIDI note not playing

I snap the play head exactly on the start of a note and when I press play that first not is not played.

To test what is causing the problem I did a clean Reaper reinstall. I made many identical tracks (all created by duplicating the first one) then I assigned different instrument to them and only Arturia Pigments 2 has this problem. So it sounds like a problem is in Pigments, but I didn't test it in any other DAW.

If anyone had a similar problem, is there a workaround available in Reaper?

Works fine with version 2.0.1.837 (second to last version) of Pigments.

Have you tried rendering the track/project to see if the first note is omitted in the rendered file?

If the note is suposed to play at at 1.1.00, try inserting an empty space before the song starts. If Pigments still refuses to play the first note, try writing in a previous first note for it to refuse to play instead!

Hi Fex!

I like the idea of giving it an extra first note to tick it.

Inserting empty space does help. I tried rendering and it had the same problem as the regular playback.

Until a future update fixes this I am sticking with version 2.0.1.837 that doesn't have this problem.

I always have a bit of space at the beginning of any project, and leave about half second of silence at the beginning of the finished product; some media players like to chop a few milliseconds off the start.
