Render region manager improvement

Hi,

I'm using Reaper mainly for game audio and soundbanks. I use regions and wildcards all the time (it's one of many thinks I love about Reaper), but I think the render region could be improved.
Here the ideas (see the fake image attached):
- keep the render matrix path and add a way to enable the region(s) to render.
- add the possibility to choose a render preset, this way we can export mono + stereo (or other) at the same time !

Having a system like this could be a time saver especially in a medium like video game where you iterate a lot and reexport the same regions again and again.

But maybe there is already a way to do this ?

Hi emarque,

Did you ever find a solution to this? I’m also looking for a way to specify render presets via region, also for game audio creation. I tried using action markers with cfllion’s new “set render preset” action , but render queue doesn’t obey the action markers during export. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Partly yes, now that we can only export selected regions. But for the presets unfortunately no.

@nicholas No I didn't do that. What is the procedure for doing this ?
