Default Multichannel output meters on FX?

Why does the output meter on FX not reflect the correct number of output channels?

Here there is an FX with 8 outputs, but has stereo meter which isn't much help at all.

Track meters do adapt to channel counts, so why not FX meters?

I would like FX meters to behave like track meters.

+1.1--long overdue? it just requires multi_input + output meters to be written into the jsfx or vst, user can do it themself with jsfx,or so it seems.
Easier 'said' than done -obviously.

Yes you could add your own meter in the plugin.

But it seems weird to have to because reaper will just add another extra FX output meter that is wrong on top of the other meter.

^ no offense here--but do you know what-- my conclusion after using reaper for a while--it's a very powerfull- bodge job.. cough*splutter*choke**

It's like giving some painters the finest paint available today (softwares, hardwares and code as canvasses) -but some of these painters have just strolled in to the gaff, and thrown expensive paint everywhere-60% on the walls-40% rest on floors and furnitures..now i know these guys are professionals (it said so on the van outside.) **hopefully** the snagging department can clean this mess up rapidly.

+1. Agreed. Native meters should follow FX IO.
