vocals fit jam up, but i prefer the first mix over this one. this one sounds thinner.

I can only find the one file to listen to, but it sounds really good. Vocals and guitar are excellent.

Mixing, the only thing that sticks out is the vocal delay, but that's a plus not a minus, sounds perfect for the genre.

Thanks Sammy and Hamish for the listen and comments.

I know what your saying Sammy about the fullness of the current version. I wanted to sharpen up the guitars a little after recording the new guitar solo and in doing so it apparently came at the cost of some beef. I'd like it back.........I'll keep messing with it.

The other version Sammy mentioned is here:

Thanks Again..............BCF1

I like

I think the bass guitar gets lost more in the 2nd version and I'm having a tough time hearing it when the other instruments are playing. That great guitar solo should be louder me thinks, too good to hide. Either way I dig it.

Had a listen and compared the 2. Yes the bottom end in the earlier version is bigger and more dynamic, it's good. The new version is better is a couple of ways, the space (panning and fx) seem better, the guitars and vox are 'wider'. It may be difficult to have both, they kind of represent different technical directions (clean and controlled vs chaotic and dynamic)

really like the drums. real? like the bass too.

not a huge fan of the guitar tone, but that's a personal thing. the tone seems to get washy after a while, monotonic, but that's just me.

also wonder about the verb on the vox. again, a personal thing - but seems to wash those a tad too much. maybe automate it off at some key pts in the song for both effect and to pull the ear in. just a thought.

a lot of energy! those drums are really helping to accomplish that.

I'll try uping the bass a little and the over all low end a touch and see what happens

Yeah I'm not thrilled with the tone myself. The guitar tracks I recorded with korg pandora px4D and are actually just scratch tracks until I have a chance to fire up the rig and get a mic on the cab. That is the case with everything I've posted. Got a little excited and just kept going. I hope to get new tracks recorded soon.

I didn't really notice the verb effect before, Now I do. I was using it to seat the vocal but I now agree it's a little heavy.

Thanks again to everyone for taking the time to listen and comment.

I really appreciate it and will keep at it !!!!!
