Default I wish the rpp backups would go into it's own folder

I wish the rpp backups would go into it's own backup folder.
Currently searching through a mess of files, looking at hundreds of rpp files.

Navigating to the actual RPP sessions is tough when one needs to choose via date/time.

Over.

Preferences> Project... you can define an additional directory for backups, but looks like it would be just one location for all your different projects.
But anyway, when you click on date modified column in Windows explorer you get the RPP at the top..no?

Thank you - that is good enough for me.
Happy to send them anywhere but my project folder

I think you can use relative paths in the Preferences Project section. For example I use the string "Backups" and a folder is always created in the folder where the .RPP resides that ends up holding the rpp-back files.

That works for the auto-save. But if you Save your project, the "timestamped" file created does not go into the Backup folder

If you don't already, get in the habit of using a self contained folder for each project - at least then you'll only have one project file to look for in each folder.
