Default Sample Rate Buffering size issues

Hi there guys, how's going?

About a week or two I was having some problems with Reaper GUI performance. I guess it's already solved but now I have an even more serious problem.

Buffering!

My only reference was my almost 10 years old PC running Windows 10 (with i3 and 6GB RAM), where I always used to running Reaper without a single problem.

Since I migrated to Mac (Mac mini with i5 and 8GB RAM) I'm facing problems running Reaper. The first one, already solved as mentioned above, but now I'm having serious audio popping and sudden interruption (Video showing the issue: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4rqjSHse2iU).

A session with 24bit / 44100Hz / 512 samples is resulting on that (on the video). I've changed the Sample Rate Buffer to 4096 samples, but still getting those audio pops and interruptions.

It's impossible to have an accurate mix audition with that.

Does anyone can help me with that?

Thanks a lot, guys!
