Hello,
Gave a listen, took me back to 80's synth pop for sure with both the music and singing style. I generally liked it. It was well balanced with different sounding parts to keep it interesting. You sang it well and I could understand all the words, which is a big plus for me. Mostly well mixed. At 1:50 the vocal edit between overdubbed vocal parts is too obvious. And I think some actual high hat work in the song would help give it a little more flavor. Other than that, very listenable!

I like to mood and the soundscape you created.

The vocals are a perfect fit with the tone, reverb and all.

I detected something in the drum, at times, that throws the song off a bit. A few trip ups, me think? I mean, perhaps you intended these off beats, but for me they trip the flow.

Same with a few notes in the synth, here and there...

Nothing major, but if it was not for these few little trips this song would be tight as heck; compatible with the best of they genre we hear on radio. Assuming that's what we're aiming for in the first place; maybe not?!

Definitely 70's vibe.
Great work, but the very last vocal was a bit off pitch.

Sounds really cool. Really like the simple style, nothing more than the bare necessity. I'll listen to this many times :-)

Thanks guys for the constructive criticism.

It amazing how many things you pick up on that I have considered to change.

Thanks for the beat comments, ha. It Jumps/trips probably too much, too busy. I will prob
change thanks

And the hi hat thanks : ) tring to get an interesting groove but I agree it doesn't quite work, or could fit better, added on the verse too.

Yes the last vocal refrain I mused over this one touch of humanity or not - or keep it
smooth.

Thanks guys for the helpful pointers, your feedback is something that helps motivate to get better : )

Yep, 80's-ish. Brew up bits of A-ha, Flock of Seagulls, Pet Shop Boys, Soft Cell and season with a bit of Thomas Dolby.
