Vertical seperator track name in MCP but vertical ( horizontal in TCP ), is it possible ? It would be nice, super. In the previous updates.

Unless the theme has an overall diagonal design (which it does not) I don't think it fits. It makes me feel like something is missing in the left meter.

I dunno, I can see that he's leaning toward the diagonal with the new transport, so it might work. But I agree, it may need a few more diagonal elements to cement the idea...
Maybe an alternate version of the theme perhaps (Hydra Diagonal or something...)

Maybe if it was possible to have this style of metering as a option in the theme layout panel/options that would be kind of cool, but not as the default theme layout?

Here's my feedback on using it so far, generally its all very positive and I love the work Blankfiles does.

The track text needs to be bigger (I know we can change this ourselves) but would be nice to have it bigger on the default theme. Somewhere the same size as the mute & solo button height would look tidy so they match.

The track input panel text should also be as big as it can be to fit in the rectangle box. I couldn't figure out which walter font changes this.

Personally I don't think we need the pan width knob on display but that's just me. Think it would clear up more space for the arrangement. Or maybe as a compromise, at least unlink the pan and pan width knobs as when you resize the track panel both pan knobs disappear rather than the width one disappearing first. Then those people who don't use it can at least hide it without losing the pan knob.

There is some cutting off of the time/location position numbers in the transport control, please see image:



I also prefer the fader button design on the rate fader show here, maybe this could replace the fader buttons on the tracks?

My favourite feature might be this:



Being able to see the metering for folder tracks that are completely collapsed (is that what you call it?) not sure how you've done it but its not a feature on the default theme! Very cool. Blankfiles do you have a donation paypal account for all of your time and hard work? Cheers

think I found a bug
My set up is that the toolbar is docked to the left , so we can have a fake track inspector .
When a track is record/armed , the mixer length automatically becomes stretched ,so the insert aren't visible anymore

Edit , this seems to be fixed with the latest download .

The included reaper plugins kinda look awfull , dark background of the sliders in contrast with the ( not skinnable ) panel

Update : what you think about the orange meter I realy love it !! I found that easy on the eyes EDIT:: THIS IS NOT A NEW VERSION it is the light version of HYDRA

This theme is splendid. Enjoying it.

One element that would be very useful, and hopefully to other as well, is to highlight the entire track row on selected tracks in the TCP. Imagine that the left TCP controls were hidden momentarily, but you'd still like to see which track is selected.

Thanks for the first one i will fix that today
for the 2 transport bar it was not desing to be so small this is unfortunately the weakness of created a different theme with an aspect that has the basis is not made for this kind of transport bar I can still try to do something else thanks again for the bugs repport

thanks for the new update and again, thanks for your great job :-)

Maybe one thing considering for the next update is the toolbar buttons?

When using custom buttons with text (and I´m sure a lot of other users have that as well), the offset between the text buttons and the toolbar is very strong (see original buttons).

I just dropped in the toolbar stuff from a Janne Theme (see imported buttons)

To me they seem to blend better with the toolbar. What do you think?

how do you go about getting the mixer at the bottom but having a master track off to the right like this? It seems the master fader is docked, but not attached to the mixer? Can this setup be modified so that the area where the master fader is becomes like a "track inspector" and dynamically changes to whatever the currently selected track is?

Yes it is possible, I already have to start a new layout called INSPECTOR that I work when I have a little time, I keep the same type of aspect but different at a time .. followed
