Default Fader volume problem

I don't know which setting I've messed with, but if I touch my fader it jumps many DB in just a few pixels:

Where can I change that, so it's more linear?

Go in prefs, type 'fader' in the bottom find and click it multiple times to see what areas you might have changed.

Thanks, I tried, but nothing really got me to understand or find the issue. The only thing I changed today was the "Meter update frequency" which I've now reverted to the origin, but without any luck. Also don't remember I got this issue after the change. The downside of too many options to alter..

EDIT: Found the culprit. Somehow I got the volume fader range to change (instead of default it was 0.25)
