Default Lexicon alpha - Standalone

I have an old lexicon alpha sitting and i was thinking if i can use its inputs and outputs without connecting it to a computer.

So i contacted the (really great!) lexicon support and they told me that this is possible if i just turn the monitor mix torwards direct.
But i have to power the unit.

I tried to power it with a normal 5V nokia usb charger, but nothing happens.
Then the same with a power bank.
I guess it needs something with more output voltage power?
(i tried to power my audient id14 with the same charger, and all the leds and knobs seem to work fine)

If someone that knows from electronics has any idea it would be great.

Well, I tried it too and tested it with various chargers and batteries but it didn't work. However, the alpha does draw a little power (around 0.07a).
