Default Where would i find "fallback" images?

Hey all, taking some very faltering steps towards understanding theme development...

I have a "blank" theme and have been observing how the default layout works -- defined by default_layouts.txt

What I'm interested to know is where do the "fallback" images come from?

Do they reside in a particular folder, or is it possible to "extract" them from somewhere in the same way as one does with the default theme?

All of the base images...as they appear in the v1 theme, are baked into the REAPER.exe file. If you are interested in creating a theme, you do not have to worry about any of those, or tge default layouts.txt, as you will be working in 'YourColorThemexxx'.Reapertheme, which you will have loaded by selecting it inside REAPER>Options>Themes. You should read all the stickies at the top of this forum.
