Hi dsealer, Here's a video showing one of the ways I use SPAN. It's about mixing and mastering with my song profiles.

Tod, thanks. That gives me some ideas and things to work on. I'm using Meldas multi analyzer.
Your finished product is pretty awesome. Your daughter has a great voice. I'd be interested in how you processed the vocal. I'm sure your daughter's voice and technique has a lot to do with it but it would be interesting, at least for me, as to what all went into getting it there. I'm never happy with my vocal recordings. I'm not the singer your daughter is but it's more than that. Your vocal is "upfront" mine seem to be somewhat lost in the mix, not upfront. I'm guessing much of it has to do eq, which I admittedly have a lot to learn about.
One more question. Where are your 3 instances of Span located, on what tracks?
Thanks again and I'll be working on this and hopefully getting better results.

Hi again dsealer. Other then manually editing the vocal with Take Volume envelopes, the EQ and compression shown in that video are all that I used. Here is a Picture of the settings.

Rather then try explain it, here is a link to all the information you're asking for. It has a pdf explainging every thing and also includes my Sinesweep profiles. It also includes a Track Template and Reaper project file.

https://drive.google.com/file/d/1UBk...ew?usp=sharing

Check it out and let me know how it goes. Also let me know if you have any questions.

PS: Also here's another video on my Mixing & Mastering in Reaper.

I put all analyzers on the master track, which is always visible. And then I embed them so they can be viewed all the time. It's like Izotope Insight (which I bought like a dummy) but for free!

ReEQ (not ReaEQ)
JS goniometer
LUFS meter

side note: I don't do any other processing at all on the master, only analyzers.

I think if you take a look at these 2 videos I had posted above, you might understand the methods I use.
