Default Slate VTM Causes Freezes/Crashes on Reaper 6.0

Reaper 6.0 x64 Issue. (running on PC Windows 10 Home, Version 1903, build 18362.476)
Unable to load projects with multiple Slate VTM(Version 1.1.13.1 x64) instances, as Reaper goes "Not Responding",
If load projects with fx turned off, then turn on Slate VTM, the plugin loads very slowly , and after a few instances Reaper fails to respond.

Projects load ok at release 5.984 (edit: also work with 5.99)

Regards Pete

I've been having similar hangs with Reaper 6.0. Are you by chance using VST2 or VST3? I have had problems in the pass with slate VST3 crashing both Cubase and Reaper. If I can narrow down my current crashes to VST3 then I can approach Slate Digital for a fix.

Secondly, I have had very slow load times with Slate plugins and other iLok plugins when Reaper has not fully cleared itself from RAM. When you see the plugins load slowly. Double check that a second ghost version of Reaper is still running in background processes in your Windows Task Manager.

Please keep me up to date with what you find because I suspect you are not alone.

Just opened an existing project with 6 tracks & added the VTM to all of them, both VST2 and VST3. All worked perfectly, so there is obviously another issue involved here as well.

Oh -Win10 pro x64, Reaper 6.03 x64 at 44.1, 24bit.
Project is 3 MIDI virtual instruments, audio for bass 2 guitars & a baritone.

I am using an RME HDSP 9652 interface with ASIO set at 64 buffer.
