Weird. I listened to the "North By Northwest" prelude and kept hearing echoes of "America" from West Side Story

I like to be in America!
O.K. by me in America!
Ev'rything free in America
For a small fee in America!

I think it's the same 12/8 ba-da-da, ba-da-da, baa- daa- daa-

Anyway. Weird.

There was a semi-famous band here in Minneapolis with the same name...In fact, Yanni (yes, THAT Yanni, Mr very new age) was the keyboardist. And the drummer played a kit that rotated in many directions (like a carnival ride).
