Default Group automation follow

Hi, could it be possible to have automation for grouped tracks to follow the Lead one ?
This is handy for automation on drums for example. No need to create automation items and copying across all drum tracks!

In the context of a orquestra recording where you automate all tracks at once is perfect!

Thanks

Yes indeed, that´s a good way of doing it for sure.
Maybe an option to have a grouped tracks automation lane would be nice for some occasions.
All good, thanks for reply.

if you were to write automation, in a write mode (write, latch, latch preview, or touch) then the automation would follow. mouse edits on envelope lanes do not follow with groups.

VCAs cover the track volume parameter. That's what it's mainly used for.

Grouping of the same plugin across tracks is a different matter. Harrison MPC consoles have dedicated grouping buttons for sections that you can use to quickly group and bunch the EQs, or dynamics, or sends, or track volume, or pan, or mutes, or send mutes or any of the other processors you can use on those consoles.

So, no grouping of the same EQ on selected tracks for example. Not yet.

There is ONE way to do this, and that's to midi/osc-learn a plugin parameter with 'works on selected track' option. SHIFT+drag that plugin on the MCP to other tracks to copy it and all its midi/osc-learn assignments to another track.

Then when you select the tracks you wish to control and change any of the midi/osc-learned parameters with that control resource(midi knob or osc tablet for example) it'll work on the selected tracks that have this plugin with the same learn assignments present.

This is what I do all day, every day during dialogue mixing.

This sure was a bitch to figure out though.
