MIDI Editor not functioning properly

Hello, the piano roll editor has stopped working normally for me and I am at my wits end - would really appreciate help with this.

I believe it is due to changes that Playtime made in Reaper but I cannot find how to undo those changes. I have cleaned out all files related to Playtime, I have just done a fresh install and then brought in the configuration file from the previous install and the problem persists.

Basically, when I open items in the piano roll, the item (regardless of where it is on the timeline) displays as starting at zero. So if an item goes from say bar 17 to 24, it will still display as starting at zero in the piano roll. Also, I am unable to drag the edges of items or see time selections in the piano roll.

As 90% of what I do in Reaper is midi, I can't do anything until I resolve this.
