Default Infinity - One Hour of Progressive Trance

I did not intend this composition to be an hour long! However after I morphed the end of the initial 6 or so minutes into something slightly different, I got hooked and kept doing that every 5-8 minutes, and eventually ended up with an hour! Give it a chance, the first 6 minutes may not be exceptional, but I think it gets much better further on.

All tracks use sweeping filters, wet/dry mixed more or less, and all set to different sweep times, which makes fluent multiple variations along the way.

With a continuous beat, aiming for Progressive Trance style, you can either put this on for people to dance to, or sit down to meditate and listen to for an hour.

All instruments, except drum tracks, is from SynthMaster.

Comments always welcome.

I think something that would benefit is more peaks and valleys. As it is, there's a few spots where the snare drops out, but there's no real buildup/release that I detected.

I'm of the opinion that rhythmic variations are more interesting to the ear than melodic variations, but a catch melody is still important. Noise can also help - it's counterintuitive, but having something harmonically jarring can add a lot of interest. These are the things that I'd work on.

It's a different genre, but for example, check out the "flute" sound at about 0:34 into DJ Krush's Paradise Bird:

The sampled vocals are also a bit off on this song, although it's more like a different mode than out of key.

Think of it like how you detune a supersaw: making things a bit off can really make them sound better.

Default Infinity Revision 3 - HUGE Sonic Improvement

Ok I just spent the past three weeks, an hour or two every day, tweaking this composition.

Over 200 tweaks, including replacement of Compressor/Equalizer and Stereo Expander on Master Channels, added Compressor Equalizer on Drum and Bass tracks, Tweaked Snare, Conga, and Crash Percussion sounds, New Bass Parts (Edited existing, replaced, or rewrote most parts), adjusted sweeping filter dry/wet mix on most tracks, added more breaks (valleys), mostly drum breaks, and increased length of most others, plus about 200 tweaks of part lengths, volume, and pan.

Please, please feel free to reply with any constructive comments, thank you very much!
