Default Latency

Hello,
This is my first post on this forum, so thanks in advance for any help.

I can't seem to get the Latency issue worked out on my pc. I've looked at many videos and read several articles on it, but I'm still having issues.

PC has an Intel- I3 - 3240 (3.40 GHZ)
8 GB Ram
660 TI Graphics card
No dedicated sound card except for the on board sound card on the mother board.
Windows 10
Line 6 GX Interface

Sony Stereo system as monitors. I know this isn't optimal, just trying to use what I have.

I'm able to record tracks, but I have to slide the track over to line up with the metronome as well as doing the same procedure for each additional track. Once it's all lined up, it sounds fine. But it's difficult to do punch ins, etc.. with the latency.

This PC was set up to play games on originally, not sure if there are settings that would need to be adjusted for recording.

Also all other program that could be running in the back ground are turned off.

I would appreciate any help or advice.

Thanks
