New as well. Normally a Cubase user but I'm super impressed by Reaper and what it's capable of. Considering making the Big Switch.

Welcome to the forums, chaps and chap-esses!
Don't forget to download the free user guide & check out the free tutorial videos in the downloads section of the front page here. Some excellent stuff to help you hit the ground running.

Welcome @love_reaperdaw
Love at first sight?
What is it that you love about it when you are a new user? Serious question. I forgot and take many great things for granted.

Welcome @Liemannen too! I see more and more Cubase users migrating to REAPER. Very well!

I still love Cubase as it is a great software in its own right, but Reaper does everything it does and more for a fraction of the price. I'll keep Cubase but won't purchase any more updates and I'll probably use Reaper as my main DAW from now on.
