Default FX Browser script?

I may have asked this before ... my personal ram seems to have that old age leak...

anyway...

In the FX Browser in the user folders section, one of my long time frustrations is how we have to move them up or down or to the top or bottom...
The ONLY #$%%^$$# way is with another mouse clk in the menu...
super boring if you have a lot of user folders...right?

Is it possible to have a script for move up and also for move down?

so that it could go on a toolbar and just be clk'd from there? or could be made into custom scripts like 'move up 5 places'....

So does scripting have access to those FX Browser functions?

There is RearrangeFX by jahudka. It's an external application though.

thanks did not know about it
went and got the win 64 version
put it in it's own unrar'd folder inside
D:\Reaper Portable 64 ...the folder for my main portable install, which is the FX Browser I'd like to sort
In the Rearrange FX pref's it is that location
however nothing shows up... shoot

I really only want the folder view

If I do clk on the plugin assignment, after awhile that shows up but it
does no good for my needs...

so, so far, close but no cigar

I am on Win7 64 and I sure wish it would work

I would think one should be able to point it at the .ini file that one wants to deal with
since I do have more than one reaper install... right?

So... maybe I'm back my original request\question

also probably a thought to the developer on this...

why not have it so that we can just drop the reaper-fxfolders.ini that we want to deal with onto the GUI???

well I'm in conversation with jahudka because apparently there is an issue when one has a huge number of plugins.... as I do...

it takes forever [or maybe never] for the folder list to show up...

In my case it never does or at least way longer than I'd care to wait and I am a patient guy... LoL

hopefully this can be improved... or maybe it has something to do with the recent changes in the FX Browser options for what it displays???
