Default Python: Import Audio Evolution Mobile projects into Reaper

I've found out that AEM works really well for multitrack recording on a tablet if you happen to have a suitable interface. Its editing capabilites are, however, somewhat lacking, but that's where Reaper fits perfectly.

Manually importing every recorded file into a project turned out to be quite unnerving, so I decided to take a closer look at AEM's project file format.

Et voilà: Importer for Audio Evolution Mobile projects - v0.1

Usage:
- Make sure you've got Python configured
- Load script into reaper
- Run script
- Select AEM project (.prj)
- Magic!

What works:
- Tracks
- Track names
- Audio items: Position, length, trimming

Someone more ambitious than me could add support for Midi, volume, panning, routing and maybe even FX.

Very cool.
I have AEM on my Samsung S6 and it works flawlessly with my RME Fireface UFX so this looks like it could be very useful.

Quick question though. I've never used or run a Python script. What is necessary to get that running with REAPER?

This is awesome! But I have no clue about how to make it work. Is it possible to write down a simple step by step tutorial on how to run this?

... And making it managed by ReaPack. Here an "about" text (in MarkDown notation) is supposed to be present for each plugin that will help finding and using it.

Were you able to get this working? First you need to install Python and get it detected in Reaper. Then in the Actions window you need to load the script file as a new script.
