Separate LFO item from AI

I was using LFO a bunch recently and it occurred to me I believe there is a better implementation that doesn't stray far from how it is currently done.

Currently:

Create AI, open properties, set LFO properties. Do not touch the curve.


What if instead you insert an LFO item. Said item will not be editable (yet, I'll get there); rather, it is an item in a permanent state of being set by the LFO properties. So at any time you can adjust it. Preferably, some adjustments would be available right in the UI of the item itself (a slider at both ends for start/end amplitude, a center line through the item which can be dragged to skew the frequency, and a + - button (where the 'FX, mute, etc' buttons are now in regular items would probably work great).

If after adjusting these as far as you want, you could 'Consolidate to AI' or 'Consolidate to envelope'.

I think this would give a lot more freedom and stability to LFOs without breaking any of the current workflow, and indeed adding a substantial enhancement to it.
