"save" button sticking and bitcrush sound

Anyone experiance this? When I hit my "save" button in the toolbar it will stick for 2 seconds and make a faint buzzing noise. Sounds like a bitcrusher. Its still saving as far as I can tell and its only doing it in one project.

any help would be steller

Dodgy plugin possibly....you could try loading with them offline.

Does it do it when playing?, when stopped? when did it start? What is your o/s?

Why is it saving "as far as you can tell"? Why not make an obvious change and confirm 100% if it's saved or not.

As a bit of troubleshooting, try saving to another drive (if you have another) and see if you have the same symptoms, preferably an internal drive.

It IS saving. I even tried saving to another disc. The buzzing sound only happens if I hit the save button while the track is playing. If I hit it when the track is not playing the button still sticks (stays lit) for 3 seconds. Reaper has been crashing too. I have uninstalled and reinstalled an older version too/ I wonder if its my buffer settings. Im at 48k and my buffer is 512 while tracking. Of course Im doing light mixing while I record. I have some plugins on the tracks. EQ's, compressors, effects, reverbs etc. Should I wait to add all those until after I am done recording?

This is about how many plugins im tracking guitars with. Everything else is midi.
Do my device settings look ok?
