Now I have another problem: When listening to the Space Echo on my vocal, it sounds spacy, lots of room, but not much echo? Like being put through the reverb only? The vu-meter responding perfectly, but...? I turned off the machine, and still this - admittedly rather nice - roomy reverb, and coming from the Space Echo?
The bus fader doesn't work, either.
I have had the RE-201 modded, so that I can put low-z mics into the inputs (it needed the old high-z), but it shouldn't affect anything but the strength of the signal?
Normally I use it as a pedal in front of my amp, or microphone, so the echo is there, absolutely.
I would love to be able to use outboard gear, even had my eyes on a Really Nice Compressor, but this makes me almost throw in the towel.
