Default Amplitube 5 causing Reaper closure

Hey, just wondering if anyone else is experiencing this:
I recently upgraded Amplitube to 5.2.0. I have the latest version of Reaper. Stand-alone works great and VST works great, however suddenly the VST3 version causes Reaper to shut down. There tech guys weren't very helpful but I am glad I reinstalled the VST version before I discarded the whole mess.

I downloaded the latest version last night & have just tried both the vst AND the vst3 versions. No issues at all with either one, although Amplitube 5 does seem to be slower loading, but mostly because of all the GUI bloat in this latest version, I think.

^^^
I reckon that that GUI bloat is in several of the current IK Multimedia products. The implementation of resizeable GUIs seems inefficient to me. Of course, AT5 has "a few" IRs that may be loaded into memory too.

ST4, on loading, uses 600MB. And the Hammond B3_X uses over 1.5GB! By contrast, Cherry Audio's MemoryMode uses about 75 MB.

Just came back from a long hiatus from recording and I'm finding Reaper not nearly as stable as it used to be. A few years ago Reaper would maybe crash once every couple of months. Now it's a few times a day. Kinda disappointing.

Anyway, Amplitube 5 does not play well with Reaper at times for me too. Here's the latest that happened today when trying to drag an instance of Amplitube to another track:

Faulting application name: reaper.exe, version: 6.4.2.0, time stamp: 0x619443cb
Faulting module name: AmpliTube 5.vst3, version: 5.2.0.0, time stamp: 0x61601103
Exception code: 0xc0000005
Fault offset: 0x0000000000dcd4b8
Faulting process id: 0xd54
Faulting application start time: 0x01d7e4aec474de20
Faulting application path: C:\Program Files\REAPER (x64)\reaper.exe
Faulting module path: C:\Program Files\Common Files\VST3\AmpliTube 5.vst3
Report Id: 303b7ab4-50b3-11ec-bf1e-00241d117da2

The program reaper.exe version 6.4.2.0 stopped interacting with Windows and was closed. To see if more information about the problem is available, check the problem history in the Action Center control panel.

Go download an older version of REAPER,

https://www.reaper.fm/download-old.php

and see if it still happens.

If the problem you are seeing is happening that frequently, running an older version of REAPER for a day or two should either stop it from happening, or change nothing in which case it may be an issue between Windows and Amplitube.

I had that issue prior they updating the plugin, if you are using Windows try lowering your display resolution and it will work fine in Reaper.
