Default Free drum sampler with native Linux version

Don't know if this is any good, but in my usual quest for native Linux VST plugins I just came across this one. Looks like it might be useful with a pad controller like my Akai MPD26, since it is a 16 pad sampler.

I saw this one recently too! It looks like it has all the important parts, and it has a clean interface. I think I'll like it! :-)

I grabbed it, but haven't kicked the tires on it yet. Maybe I'll give it a spin tomorrow. I have some wave samples of a stand up cocktail drum kit I used to own that I could use to try it out.

I right-clicked a pad, and browsed to my
NI Form samples folder, and loaded one, and to
my happy surprise, the sample window now added
< and > widgets to browse through the sample folder!

I can envision placing a lengthy drum-loop sample,
and some evolving morphing pad sample on a pair of pads,
and still have plenty left for finger-drumming.
It played some of the longer for samples OK, so it remains
to be discovered if a size limit exists.

The dev is in the discussion at

https://www.linuxmusicians.com/viewt...p?f=48&t=19323

(which all to soon devolved into license and distro debates)
but the dev is a sharp cookie, and not one to be toyed with.
Cheers
