Edit CC from score view
I spend 99% of my time in score view. If there were a way I could write CC data without having to leave it; that'd be amazing.
Probly too much to ask, but worth a try

Yes ... and no.
I also like to see score and CC events both at the same time. OTOH I also want to see "named notes" to edit key switches.
So I'd rather want to be able to split up the item window into several lanes. Eg "piano roll" with "named notes", or perhaps two "piano roll" lanes for easy editing of two voices more than one octave apart at the same time. And of course "musical notation" with either "piano roll" or "named notes".
But I disgress. Most sensible way for me is to show CC events always when in continuos view or only when a new config option has been set.
The hard part for the implementation will probably the fact the the horizontal spacing is not fixed for a score as it is for the piano roll. Could also be a bit odd to look at.

I have also suggested this feature in the notation pre-release thread, long ago, and I hope it will be implemented.
I don't think that it would be too difficult to adapt the code of the piano roll CC lanes to the notation view: In continuous view, the notation editor is pretty similar to the piano roll, so CC lanes can be displayed in the same way at the bottom of the editor. The main difference would be that the spacing of CC events would not be regular, since the notation view has bar lines and "proportional spacing" options.

maybe simply make CC only possible in continuous view without proportional spacing.
I also thought it'd be great to have a different "keyswitch" voice that could have stemless squares instead of regular notes for our keyswitch notes.

This would be a cool feature to implement! would improve CC editing workflow a lot since you'd have direct access to each note and shape them so that they have more flow and dynamics in the performance!

A simple way to implement basic CC and keyswitch edition in the notation view would be to associate notation symbols, noteheads and texts to them, with before, after, duration and logical conditions (if, not, etc.)
