Default Guitar Pro Guitar strumming to notation

So i have a strumming pattern as i play it on real guitar

the hard thing is noting down the rhythm in quarter notes eight notes dotted notes or whatever rhythm into guitar pro

it takes too much time for me to figure out how to write it there in terms of quarter notes etc

any ideas how to go about this, is there a fast way to figure this out

Try writing a MIDI timing track in reaper, then export that to GP7. Can be any pitch, all you're looking for is the timing and duration. Edit/quantize as needed for clean notation in Reaper. Then export it as a MIDI track.

In GP7, build your chords off the initial pitch, then delete the "timing note."

Trust me, after a while doing it, you'll start to really "feel" your rhythm parts and notating them will become much easier.
