if so how can it sound louder to me than the Mastered?

YouTube uses some kind of volume normalization (trying to make everything "equally loud").


So you're hearing volume-adjusted versions of both recordings and maybe the volume normalization is not working "perfectly". (Not surprising.)

It's not just unmastered, the synth is gone at the start o.o

The tonal balance of the mastered version is better though. If only it didn't clip

the "unmastered" version peaks at -0.1 dB, so virtually no headroom left to raise its volume. The other version peaks at -5.0 dB, probably due to youtube level reduction, so its level could be raised by 4.9 dB to get to the same peak level. Obviously, it would then sound considerably louder than the unmastered version.
