FR: Start "paused" to give me a chance.
As soon as I enter the Save File name and click OK, LICEcap starts recording.
This is inconvenient for me as I would like to start the transport first, move the mouse to a particular position and only then start Recording. It would be great if there were a choice (on the Save File window) to start "paused"? Maybe I've missed something.

Yes, it would really be better if we had a chance to "set things up". Nice software though.

But...Holding Shift and immediately pressing Space after hitting the record-button pauses the recording that fast that nothing is being recorded until then. I've checked it a few times. For the following un-pausing i use Ctrl-Alt-P which works even when e.g. the Reaper-Window has the focus. Shift-Space does this only when the Licecap-Windows has the focus. Michael |

You can just hit pause during the pre-roll...
