In Reaper prefs. → Adanced UI → HiDPI mode: Aware (experimental)

Reaper looks sharp and crisp yet tiny at the same time. How can I scale it properly with madVR? The 'Scale UI elemnts' option inside Reaper doesn't give me good results.

P.S. Just to rage about it again: Devs, when can we have vector based GUI in Reaper? I guess it will be bad for themes and skin mods but who knows.

Sorry for giving you false hope I meant Microsoft should implement similar bitmap scaling methods, not saying that madVR can do that on non video playback environment.

The screenshot was done by screen recording software, then playback the video using madVR.

If Microsoft can do GPU assisted rendering like Aero Glass, why they can't use the GPU for better scaling? That's what I thought.

Default high rez - do we need it?

personally I don't think high rez is an absolute necessity when it come comes to using a DAW, so long as the daw is fit for the job that is what matters. the moment you start going down the road of flashy animations and so on, your going to run into distraction. it also means unnecessary work for the devs if you make it standard fare( hi rez, therefore, should be optional, not mandatory).
having said that there is one area where hi rez might be useful, and that is in the visual representation of complex wave spectra.
