Default Vertical guide lines for MIDI notes in piano-roll

Hello !
When you move an item in the arrange view there are vertical lines enclosing it and making easier to position it precisely.
For people (like me) who don't use quantization, it would be very useful to have the same vertical lines for MIDI notes in the piano roll.

Now that we have guides in the razor edit feature, can we please have guides in the midi editor? It's the only think I miss from Logic. It would be so helpful for orchestral mock-ups and working with multiple midi tracks.

I know some of this can be accomplished with quantizing and scripts, but it would be very handy to have guidelines when moving or extending/contracting midi notes. I really like how it works with razor edits - grab the entire section and get guides on both ends - grab one side and just that guide shows up. this would be brilliant in the ME

Thanks!

Bumping this massively!

I have been in audio only world for a while and came back to do some midi recently and was actually confused that we don't have the guide lines for midi notes. I could have sworn we did and since we don't.. can we!

Also, it would actually be amazing if when the midi editor is synced to the arrange view if the line could be shown on both so we can line midi notes up to audio.

Please and Thanks devs!

Yep - that'd be useful for cases where MIDI notes need to be synced to sections of audio waveform.

Currently, I tend to move tracks next to eachother for visual syncing between MIDI and audio. Having guidelines of selected MIDI note(s) visible in both MIDI editor and Arrangement would remove the need to do that.

So +1 to this, and guidelines for selected notes in MIDI editor in general.

+1 To this.

It would be useful.

Other DAW (Cubase, Cakewalk) have a vertical guide line in midi editor.

Super useful because I don't record midi to the grid or use quantization.

It's useful in the arrange view. It should be in the MIDI Editor.
