Another Reaper/Ninjam Communication Question
I see people with multiple channels displayed when I connect ReaNinjam. How is this done? I only have a 2 input ASIO card, but I wouldn't think that would have anything to do with how channels are assigned between Reaper and Ninjam. I currently run Reaper on one channel, and 3 other channels containing drums, guit, bass, whatever.. Shouldn't I be able to assign these different channels separately in ReaNinjam? That way, people could adjust the levels of anything I broadcast independently. I do see people with multiple channels in Reaninjam.... how is it set up?

Hey, it's pretty simple.
Pretty much, you need to learn how the track routing works in Reaper.
Click the IO button to bring up the IO window on the track that has ReaNinjam loaded, and adjust the total channels on the top to however many you need.
Then click the Add New Receive pulldown in the Receive section, and select the track you want to receive. Then adjust the sending channels and receiving channels (next to Audio I.E if your drum channel is Track 2, and it's stereo, you'll create a receive from track 2 and the left side (send) will be 1/2 while your receive (right side) will be which ever two channels you have the relevant ninjam channel listening on. So, in ninjam, you'll have a channel for your drums, and it should be set to '1/2' as your input. Rinse and repeat for each channel you want in ninjam.

I've been messing around with these very screens for hours now. No go. Everything looks right. I've tried all sorts of combinations.
Here is what things look like right now:

Something is amiss.

That window looks right...
One thing, I turn off the master send on all tracks that are sent to ninjam, so you're not hearing it twice as loud.
So, on your drum track, you have a VST loaded, and you can see levels on the mixer for that track when you play, right? And it shows a send to the Ninjam track from 1/2 to 3/4? And you have a channel in reaninjam set to 3/4 as well, and get nothing coming in on it?
If thats the case, it should work. Not sure whats up.

Oops, I didnt notice you had other screenshots on that page...
I see you don't have any FX on the Ninjam channel, is ReaNinjam loaded and enabled (box checked) on Track 1?

Working
Everything working with the multichannel. Still some things to sort out.
Thanks for helping me on the server and forum, misterC.
