Sounds absolutely delightful. I shall be sure to pack a blanket to sit on, and a round or two of cucumber sandwiches. Will they serve some Tetleys tea, or shall i bring my own flask?

Spiffing.

I could go to a number of these gigs. But I will not. Because of the spam.*

*and the face-melting. Yuk!

Dave, that's because you're civilised.

As a complete aside to this what's the name of the audio unit you're struggling with in linux, and is it the freebob or ffado driver you're having a challenge with? I'll try again to get hold of the dev, and see if he can offer any clues.

Is it a presonus?

Alex.

No that's that dang irritating thing.

It's a mackie Onyx desk, which is supposed to be all OK with freebob/FFADO.

I'm busy learning a stack of new tunes at the moment for some shows, but I'll get around to dual-booting again soon and try a few distros again, maybe dick around with permissions.

Kind regards

Dave Rich

i think this is either (a) a crying shame that anticulture appear to have sunk as low as spamming fora or (b) an endorsement of the growing popularity of REAPER that they found this place...

Dave,
The best place seems to be #ffado irc channel, but you might need to be a little patient. Pieter's in the middle of sorting out some code challenges at the moment (meaning days, not hours), but he suggested there as a start point, when you're ready.
It's on freenode.

Alex.
